Woody’s Lodge

Woody’s Lodge is a vital community hub supporting Armed Forces veterans as they rebuild confidence, strengthen relationships and reconnect with their communities. Through a welcoming and inclusive environment, the Lodge provides direct access to specialist advice, practical support and peer connection — helping individuals move forward with purpose.

Having delivered DGS 10-week programme at Woody’s Lodge in 2024 and 2025, we have witnessed measurable improvements in wellbeing, social engagement and self-belief among participants. The safe, supportive setting enables veterans to reduce isolation, share experiences and develop positive routines, while rebuilding connections with family and friends. The lasting impact extends beyond the programme itself, fostering resilience, renewed confidence and a stronger sense of belonging.
